If the share price is rising you'll see a green flash and if it's falling a red flash. In addition the volume, bid and ask will also change but without the flashing.

Streaming quotes only work when the stock exchanges are open. The streaming quotes are delayed by between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the market you're looking at.
